Today, I’d like to focus on one true charm of the Philippine Festival Tokyo 2025.

Would you believe me if I told you that the moment you step into Yoyogi Park in Tokyo, you’ll be enveloped in the excitement of another world?

No, you’ll literally be transported to the Philippines.

You could say that these two days allow you to experience the authentic Philippine atmosphere while in Tokyo, and today marks the climax.

The first thing you feel is the sound!

The rhythm jumps into your body, and the authentic dance beat makes your feet move on their own.

And the colors!

The traditional costumes, food stalls, decorations…your whole field of vision is instantly transformed into tropical mode.

But the one message I want to convey to you today is this:

In other words, this festival is a cultural journey in itself.

The food, the dancing, the goods, and the smiles of the people.

All of these things will transcend borders and reach straight into your heart.

This is full of moments where you will understand with your body that “intercultural exchange can be so exciting.”

If you are within walking distance of Yoyogi Park right now, there is no reason to miss out on this “one-day-out-of-the-ordinary experience.”

And finally, I’d like to close with a little story.

When you think of Filipino breakfast, you think of garlic fried rice and a hearty sinigang.

It has a bit more of a punch than a Japanese breakfast, but…

The idea that “breakfast is a source of energy that gives you energy” is universal.
